My process of design these days is very organic. In the case of these pillows, I had in my possession the materials and a rather vague sense of what I would create from them. What I find so interesting about working with these rich and costly goods is that the impetus to cut into them is tempered by my appreciation of their essential value.

The commUNITY Masks

These commUNITY masks are my ‘Mother of Invention’ moment, ‘cuz whether we believe it or not, they are a Necessity.

I sat down and created a mask that I thought would bring comfort and a sense of protection, at least where the virus was concerned. Crafted in the upcycled Levi’s denim cloth that I have loved since my first pair of 501’s, purchased at the County Seat, years ago.
